Knife Edge Gate Valve

A knife gate valve is a component that utilizes a blade known as Knife plate to cut through clogging of heavy liquids. A precision buffed knife plate is designed such a way which cuts even heaviest sludge sharply without erosion to prevent from getting stuck between the wedge & the seat of a normal gate valve and also prevent flow shut-off. Unlike the conventional Gate valve these valves are basically used to serve isolation duty widely accepted for sewerage, paper, pulp & slurry conveying lines.
